Last Day Eve!

I can’t believe it’s almost over. I will head home tomorrow and often reflect on the great pictures I have to commemorate this amazing vacation. It has been a dream come true.

As I looked for parking in town for the fireworks tonight, I almost gave up…it was very crowded. But I found a spot and walked several blocks to the beach. Pretty night and the fireworks could be seen from as far away as Hilton Head in addition to the beautiful Tybee Island fireworks.
As I pack, I realize I have one complete suitcase of clothes that I didn’t wear even once!  The hardest part to going home will be makeup, doing hair, and wearing a real bra. But I guess it’s not fair to subject the rest of the world to my laziness.

Thank you all for following this dream with me. Next up is a move from a 3 bedroom house to a one bedroom loft…should be interesting. But if I’ve learned anything on this trip, it is that I can totally live with a lot less and love it!

  1. I spent the 4th with my awesome Hispanic neighbor who had friends over and blasted music loud enough to wake the dead till about 3 in the morning. It’s funny because it looked like everyone else had already turned in. Being right next door to my awesome neighbor gives me special perks. I don’t need a radio… I can just listen to his – a great mix of Hispanic music I can’t even understand at all hours.
